Sweet and spicy tempe (tempe kecap)

Ingredients
tempe (2 blocks, diced)
red shallot (4 cloves)
garlic (5 cloves)
sweet soy sauce (half cup)
chilli (half of thai chilli for mild spiciness, or no chilli at all if you are spice intolerance)
Instruction
1. deep fried tempe until crunchy, put aside
2. stir fried onion and garlic until smell good, put sweet soy sauce and add water to prevent stickiness, when it's boiling, add tempe to the mixture until it absorbed the sauce.
PS. Indonesian sweet soy sauce is a thick and sweet soy sauce, it's completely different than soy sauce. Amazon has ABC sweet soy sauce which pretty common to find in Indonesia.
