Yellow Fried Rice



It was a lazy cooking time so I used canned vegetable in this recipe. Indonesian usually use fresh carrot, fresh cabbage, and chicken. Also, I wrote that the turmeric is more or less 1/4 teaspoon, but really you might just need 1-2 pinch just to give the yellow colour and a little bit of smell. You can add more if you want the turmeric to taste stronger.

Ingredients:
1 can mixed vegetable
1 bowl rice
5 cloves garlic
1 head onion
2 tablespoon Oil
1 teaspoon fresh crushed ginger
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
2 eggs

Instruction:
1. Heated one tablespoon of oil.
2. Stir fry cloves, onion, and ginger
3. Toss rice, vegetables, and turmeric. Stir fry until the rice turned yellow.
4. Meanwhile, heat another tablespoon of oil and fry the egg

PS. Indonesians are eating fried rice as a breakfast menu. This is my mum breakfast recipe.
